🎸 DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT! 🎸

From November 27 to December 11, we've got a match fund up to $5K. Every dollar you donate gets doubled by our rockstar donor. Yep, you read that right – DOUBLED.

Give $50? It becomes $100. Give $200? It becomes $400. Give $1,000? It becomes $2,000. You get the idea.

Even better for holiday gifting: We'll email you your gorgeous gift certificate showing the FULL doubled amount. So if you donate $75, your gift certificate will show $150. Climate action meets holiday magic.

(Tax note: The Gift Trust will send you a tax receipt for your original donation amount – the IRD doesn't match, but we do!)

Where does your money go?

100% of your donation goes directly to organisations doing the mahi – admin costs are covered separately. Read more about where our first round of funding is going here. Unfortunately we can't cover those pesky credit card fees, so if you can make your donation via bank transfer, your money will go even further.

Donations to The Climatics are received by The Gift Trust and are tax-deductible for New Zealand tax residents. Please contact us to find out about borderless giving options. To issue a receipt, we'll need some personal details. If you have any questions regarding your donation, contact info@thegifttrust.org.nz.

Why we’re using The Gift Trust and how it works

The Gift Trust is a registered charity with a mission to make generosity easier and to help more good happen. Rather than establishing our own charitable trust, we’ve chosen to partner with The Gift Trust to simplify the administrative side of collective giving.

Through The Gift Trust’s Collaborative Fund Service, The Climatics can operate with the benefits of a registered charity without the administrative burden of setting one up ourselves. The Gift Trust handles all funds received, works collaboratively with The Climatics team on due diligence for shortlisted organisations, and manages the administrative functions of the fund, including issuing tax certificates to donors.

This partnership allows us to focus on our core kaupapa: identifying and vetting meaningful organisations, channelling donor funds to these carefully researched initiatives, resulting in climate-conscious donors supporting work that makes a real difference
