WHY THE CLIMATICS?

We all want to see climate action that counts, but it can be hard to know where to start.

Incredible organisations are working on climate change across Aotearoa. But the ones making real breakthroughs aren't necessarily the ones making headlines.

We've found some of the most impactful climate work happening right now. And we're putting money directly in their hands.

This is how change starts: a group of people who see what others miss, and act while others wait. Want to join us?

Most of us care. Many don’t know how to help.

Study after study shows that the majority of us care about climate change, about te taiao, and about our future generations, but many aren’t sure how to turn that care into action.

The Climatics helps bridge that gap by tapping into people power, because when enough of us chip in, even in small ways, we can shift what’s possible.

Incredible organisations are working on climate change across Aotearoa, but less than 4% of philanthropy goes to environmental causes. Meanwhile, nearly half of New Zealanders say they’re willing to give 1% of their income to climate action.

The Climatics mobilises that untapped potential.

$100,000 by December

We aim to raise $100,000 by the end of 2025 for three strategically selected organisations. This pilot will pave the way for a larger public launch in early 2026. From there, we’ll fund two rounds of grants each year.

Our admin costs are covered by private donors, so 100% of your donation goes to the work (except those pesky bank fees).
