We (MJ & Pip) want to build The Climatics in the open - 'learning out loud', sharing our thinking as it develops. Showing the 'backstage', as it were. This blog is where we'll do that.
Our desire is for our work to serve the ecosystem of actors already doing incredible climate work, and to help inform best practice philanthropy for climate givers. We want to build this movement in the open to invite more people in, and to help get more funds to organisations doing important systems change work.
Because none of us is as smart as all of us.
We've spent years working in philanthropy and systems change. Pip brings deep climate experience to the table, and between us we want to make sure that when everyday Kiwis choose to give to climate action, those donations have the biggest possible impact. We take turns writing here, sharing what we're learning on this journey - and we'd love to hear your thoughts along the way.
