We (MJ & Pip) want to build The Climatics in the open - ‘learning out loud’, sharing our thinking as it develops and showing the ‘backstage’, as it were. This blog is where we’ll do that. Our desire is that this mahi serves the ecosystem of actors already doing incredible climate work. We want to build this movement in the open to invite more people in. Because none of us is as smart as all of us.
We're not climate experts. We're just people who care deeply about the state of the planet - both in this moment and what we’re passing on to the next generation and the ones to come. We've spent years working in philanthropy and systems change, and we want to make sure that when everyday Kiwis choose to give to climate action, those donations have the biggest possible impact. We’ll take turns writing this blog, sharing what we’re learning on this journey.
